May 18, 1. Am I correct in understanding that Baptists are opposed to all gambling? This is why I chose to post this in this forum. I am in a discussion on the Catholic forum regarding a Meals on Wheels delivery truck. I thought it looked really bad to have the Catholic Church and a major casino's okay - I know it is an affiliated foundation but it is still Harrah's logo riding all about town. The Catholic Church is okay with gambling if it is done in moderation, is not an addiction and does not prevent someone from supporting themselves or their families.
