I have read documentation that the IOS needs to be at LEAST Version (4) so I feel that I am in good shape there. when I enter the command "SH DIAG" the output reads - WIC/VIC/HWIC Slot 1: Unknown WAN daughter card WIC module not supported/disabled in this slot. SM-ESP IP Base - E (1)M - Not Supported tied to platform slot density SM-ESP IP (14)T IP Base - tied to platform slot density Channelized T1/E1 and ISDN PRI T IP Base - tied to platform slot density ISDN BRI Modules WIC-1B-S/T-V3 IP Base - (8)T IP Base Solved: i have a nm-hdv in slot one and a vicfxo in the module. this has four hwic slots - can i put the vicfxo in an hwic? sh diag Slot 1: High Density Voice Port adapter Port adapter is analyzed Port adapter insertion time unknown.
Cisco Switching/Routing :: Not Detecting HWIC-2T In 1921 Router?
I am tasked to VLAN this network to reduce broadcast traffic. Just wanted to get it working today. I want to set the card as a single routable interface and just have the ports act like switch ports, which I imagine is the default design of these cardsI work a lot with Cisco ISRs so figured it's the same here, assign an IP to interface Vlan1 and all is well. I wan't to be able to ping the device computer name but currently cant do that. Is it possible to use the MPLS withe mentioned devices?

Compiled Tue Mar [Code] We have been facing a problem at my company! When I use the GigabitEthernet port to make a trunk, I create 2 sub-interfaces one for each Vlan and configure the Port on Switch as Trunk, the inter-VLan routing works with no problem.
I try creat interface Vlan for each vlan, and try creating the VLans at Router Vlans database, but no way. At router I enter in interface and try to do the switchport trunk command to add a Vlan, but doesn't work. I have an interesting problem. I've configured a site to site VPN connection between these two devices.
I am using the CDMA card as the primary and only outside connection on the What happens is that by default the cellular connection is offline.
When traffic is generated internally from that network to the concentrator side of this scenario the cellular connection goes online and builds the tunnel, no problem. However, I cannot initiate the tunnel from the concentrator side. I think what i need is a way to force the cellular connection to always be on, and if it fails to come back online.

I have a ISR, a lab unit with almost nothing yet configured other than some IP networks on serial and FE interfaces to ping to other lab routers. That was wrong, obviously more config is required. It seems there are a lot of differing answers out there, so far none what worked for me.
The best looking one I could find said to assign an IP to the Vlan 1 interface, then go to each of the four FE interfaces on the switch module. Maybe this was listed in the release notes for the product and I missed it, but can this item support Etherchannel in a router? I installed the module into the router and the router recognizes the module. I can configure the ports as access or trunk ports, but I am unable to configure the channel-protocol or the channel-group for the Etherchannel.
The IOS on the router is Compiled Tue Mar [Code] I am not able to see the HSRP configuration commands under these interface. Does this module support HSRP? If yes , do i need upgrade the IOS of router. Suddently WAN links stopped working from last night.
I have performed shutdown and no shutdown in the interface but still the the WAN link was not working. After performing a reboot the WAN link started working. No error logs were generated while the WAN link was down. I am exploring other option. I have following link for 1 OR 2 Port Fast Ethernet port but not sure whether this will support what I am looking for.
